The Gothic Shell Cross was my first pattern. I designed it for a friend of mine at church's daughters first communion gift. I liked how the shell parrern looked in someone else's cross looked but not how the side arms tied in so I made this one. Available from Ravelry, Etsy, or Craftsy





The Scottish Cross Pattern was my second design. I designed it to hang on the wall of my husbands clinic when we were living in Italy about 12 years ago, I finally wrote the pattern out this year. Also avalible from Ravelry, Etsy, or Craftsy

Welcome to Uncinetto, Crochet, Maglia & Knitting!

Greatings and a warm welcome to Uncinetto, Crochet, Maglia & Knitting by me(Sarah M)

First things first Uncinetto is the Italian word for Crochet and Maglia is Italian for knitting, knitted, or sweater. So the name is really a refference to both places that have influenced my fiber arts, Italy and my dear Mom in Texas. I am aware Uncinetto, Crochet, Maglia & Knitting is a mouthful so how about we call it UCMK for short. ;)

I intend this Blog to be the home of my original patterns, some for sale some for free eventually. I do have to live and I would prefer to earn my way through life.
